PREVENTATIVE MEDICINE!
In the natural we look at preventative medicine and the things that we can do to keep our bodies healthy. When we eat healthy and exercise, that goes a long way to preventing illness. As children of God we should eat the word and then exercise the word in order to remain healthy. God said this;
Exodus 15:26
26 And said, If thou
wilt diligently hearken
to the voice of the LORD thy God,
and wilt do that which is right in his sight,
and wilt give ear to his commandments,
and keep all his statutes,
I will put none of these diseases upon thee,
which I have brought upon the Egyptians:
for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

James Version
It is God’s
intention that His people remain free of sickness. We can remain free of
sickness by being obedient to
the command of God; those things that he has commanded us. A new standard
has been established concerning keeping the commandments of God. The
keeping of His commandments is not as much in performance as in what comes from
the heart; for as a man thinks in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7).
GOD DOES NOT GET GLORY OUT OF SICKNESS!
Sickness is not always a sign that we have not obeyed God or have sinned in some way. We don’t always understand the plans and purposes of God but we can always trust Him. God does not cause everything that occurs in our lives but He allows some things in order to accomplish His plans whether the plan is for us or others. As we consider the man who was born blind, the assumption was that someone had sinned. However, Jesus let it be known that the reason was not sin but that the works of God would be manifest;
John 9:2-3
2 And his disciples asked
him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents:
but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
